Henry Morris Naglee was an American military officer and vintner. He served as a captain in the Mexican-American War, and as a General on the Union side of the Civil War. He is also known as the "Father of California Brandy" as he distilled a brandy named Naglia. The location of his 140-acre estate has since become the Naglee Park neighborhood of San Jose, California.
