First edition.   Although Graff 2720 reports this 1928 edition to be the first, there is evidence which suggests an earlier printing in an extremely small quantity in 1920. Contains material regarding an overland trip to California, and then a return by way of Panama. Also having information on the California Gold Rush, Mormons at Nauvoo, and the Civil War. The place of publication is not known, however the introduction suggests it was printed in St. Louis. A clean and tight example of this rare printing.
